Neither Here Nor There is an exhibition by the artists Helen Smith and Sian Gledhill, taking place from 4th-31st July 2013 at The Stables in Morden Hall Park, a National Trust property in South London.
Helen Smith’s work explores extended notions of drawing and incorporates painting, video, installation and artists books. She has contributed to the magazine Cluster and has exhibited as part of Michael Shamberg’s ongoing project Turtle Archive: Image/Text/Music. Recent exhibitions include Video & Performance, Konstcentralen, Stockholm (2013), Golden is Silence, Site Festival, Stroud (2012) and Over Seas, Folkestone (2011). As well as working extensively for artist duo boyleANDshaw on projects including Dynamite Fighter, GSK, Royal Academy (2008), Funnel of Love, 176 Gallery (2009) and the ICA (2010).

Sian Gledhill is fascinated by the defunct, the obsolete and redundant forms of storytelling, she uses items of nostalgia, ephemera or personal archives to stage a re-encountering of the familiar. She is a recent graduate from Royal College of Art, London. Recent exhibitions include The Quiet and the Still, Transmission Arts, Free103point9 Online Radio, USA (2012);Multiplied Art Fair 2012, Christie’s South Kensington, London (2012); Boat Radio, Transmission Commission, Folkestone Fringe (2012).
